As the codename suggests, the new browser is obviously designed to be minimal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>bare-bones, plain, simple, clean<\/em> ~ synonyms for Spartan from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesaurus.com\/browse\/spartan\" target=\"_blank\">Thesuarus.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Another new feature in Windows 10 will be &#8220;Cortana&#8221;, an artificial intelligence-based personal assistant along the lines of Siri for Apple, and named after a fictional character in the <i>Halo<\/i> video game series. Just highlight and right click any word or phrase included within the page, choose &#8220;Ask Cortana&#8221; and that additional information will then be presented in her sidebar.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Windows 10: Cortana Integration in Spartan\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Fj9QAMVmdbM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Will Internet Explorer also come with Cortana integrated? I seriously doubt it. Microsoft will no doubt see a &#8216;Spartan only&#8217; approach as an inducement to wean users off the old browser and onto the new.
