Don&#8217;t quote me on this, but I suspect it has something to do with forwarded emails&#8217; susceptibility to being flagged as SPAM.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Thunderbird-Betterbird-Logos.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-149519\" src=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Thunderbird-Betterbird-Logos.png\" alt=\"thunderbird-betterbird-logos\" width=\"452\" height=\"197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Thunderbird-Betterbird-Logos.png 452w, https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Thunderbird-Betterbird-Logos-350x153.png 350w, https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Thunderbird-Betterbird-Logos-150x65.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 452px) 100vw, 452px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>The Alternatives<\/h3>\n<p>There are only two alternatives that I can see:<\/p><div id=\"daves-1132876122\" class=\"daves-single-post-in-content\" style=\"margin-bottom: 25px;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-7205184075006101\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7205184075006101\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"2700504761\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"false\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Manage each email account separately<\/li>\n<li>Install a 3rd-party email client<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There is no shortage of 3rd-party email clients. <a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/?s=thunderbird\">Thunderbird<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/betterbird-a-better-thunderbird\/\">Betterbird<\/a> are both free and open source, and both also support managing multiple email accounts from within the application.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read our Betterbird review: <a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/betterbird-a-better-thunderbird\/\">Betterbird &#8211; A Better Thunderbird?<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>BOTTOM LINE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Many users will be unhappy with this decision by Google, and while there might be a good reason behind it, Google could have done a much better job of explaining that reasoning.<\/p>\n<p>Do you use Gmail to manage multiple email accounts?
