In my research, I have now found out that your phone might be watching you through your camera app, too. Plus, it could be sending that data to the developers without you knowing. Look down until you find the section <strong>Usage<\/strong>. Under that, you should see <strong>Mobile data<\/strong>. Tap the switch to the right to turn it off. The camera does not need to use the internet to function. Let&#8217;s head back to the <strong>App info<\/strong> screen. Tap on the <strong>Battery<\/strong> option, which is right under <strong>Mobile Data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Data-Usage-Option.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-147876 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Data-Usage-Option.jpg\" alt=\"samsung-galaxy-s22-data-usage-option\" width=\"564\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Data-Usage-Option.jpg 564w, https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Data-Usage-Option-322x400.jpg 322w, https:\/\/davescomputertips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Data-Usage-Option-121x150.jpg 121w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 564px) 100vw, 564px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6<\/strong>: This will bring up the <strong>Battery usage<\/strong> screen.\u00a0 Here, they give you three choices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unrestricted<\/li>\n<li>Optimized<\/li>\n<li>Restricted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will want to tap the circle to the left of <strong>Restricted<\/strong>. Tap that, and this will keep your camera from using the battery in the background when it is not necessary. From here, you will see <strong>Allow Permission<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This permission allows an app to show things on top of other apps you&#8217;re using. This may interfere with your use of other apps.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We want to turn this off, so tap the switch to the right of this option.
