He uses <strong>Gmail<\/strong> through the <strong>Chrome<\/strong> web browser.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say he went to a website that had various share options. Clicking on the email icon will open your default email client. When he clicked on the email icon it would open in his browser for Gmail but somehow he set up <strong>Thunderbird<\/strong> as his default client which he didn\u2019t want.<\/p>\n<p>I assumed this would be easy to fix (<strong>Never ASSUME anything<\/strong> \ud83d\ude42 ). I went to the <strong>Start<\/strong> button and typed\u00a0 \u201c<strong>default apps<\/strong>\u201d (minus quotes) in the <strong>Search bar<\/strong>. &#8220;<strong>Thunderbird<\/strong>\u201d was selected as the default for email. I clicked on it. Not exactly.<\/p>\n<p>Now clicking on the \u201c<strong>share email<\/strong>\u201d icon did nothing. To fix this I signed into his Gmail account. In the <strong>URL<\/strong> or <strong>web address<\/strong> bar towards the right, you\u2019ll see a \u201c<strong>diamond-like<\/strong>\u201d icon.
