I am not very knowledgeable about computerese but am trying my best to learn as much as I can as soon as I can. As such, any mistakes I make here will hopefully be magnanimously excused but I assure you I will catch up.
My machine is an old P4, 2.0, 1GB RAM running WinXP Pro SP3 dual booting to Ubuntu, which I am trying my best to set up.
