I finally found Mercury this morning. Very unusual we get to view four planets but they are all their, even Mercury. This was viewed at around 6:15AM this morning.October-16-2015-Star-Chart.PNGImage Enlarger

Was that with the naked eye, telescope, camera?
Does the star chart act as a map or sorts so you can look at the chart and look at the sky and compare?

Just curious.

I probably did not give the right name to this topic. It is a real time shot of the sky at that moment in time. I use the program to find the planets and then see if I can spot them with just the naked eye, which can be very hard at times. Mercury and Mars can be very hard to spot. All I could visually see this morning is Venus and Jupiter.
Being in Indiana you should have about the same sky shot, just more light from the Sun.
