I've been trying to save my MS Word and Excel files to Open Office. Everything that I've tried is not letting me do this. Can anyone give me a heads up?? I'm running XP Pro sp3 using Office XP.

I thought Open Office could open Microsoft formats??
To save from Office into the open office formats (odf, odt, ods, etc) you have to install a converter for Microsoft Office. I've used this one before with great success: [url:wf5hazi5]http://odf-converter.sourceforge.net/[/url:wf5hazi5]
Good luck!
