For personal reasons, I’m going to make a bootable USB from a Windows 7 CD that I have. I’m going to be using a program called ImgBurn to do this. Download ImgBurn. I know. It hasn’t been updated in a while, but it still works. I put in my disc. Then I open up ImgBurn and click on “Create image file from disc”. Select your source CD/DVD and allow it a minute to prepare.

No Power On Gateway PC

After a winter storm, we had a power outage that lasted almost 20 hours. Not good in an apartment with only electric heat. No lights, no heat, can’t go online to complain to anyone. 🙂 I previously wrote about someone’s computer not turning on after a power outage. The fix was to unplug the computer, hold down the power button for 30 seconds, plug it back in, and turn it on.
